Child Protection Training: Level 3

Safeguarding Children and Child Protection training level 3 is for key managers working with children and staff working with children to make key assessments and take responsibility for various situations that may arrise. Level 3 training provides key decision makers to work withing government guidelines.

Under section 31(9) of the Children Act 1989 as amended by the Adoption and Children Act 2002:

’health’ means physical or mental health; and

’ill treatment’ includes sexual abuse and forms of ill-treatment which are not

physical.
